A boat or ship's 3D model serves different needs from the same base — shipyard presentation, sales visuals, technical verification, or a promotional animation. This page explains how ship and marine vessel 3D modeling works.
Which marine vessels do we model?
- Yachts and boats: hull, deck layout and cabin interior — for sales and marketing visuals.
- Catamarans and custom builds: technically accurate modeling of non-standard hull forms.
- Commercial ships: a scaled, correctly proportioned model for shipyard presentation and project approval.
Cabin and interior visualization
The cabin, deck and interior fit can be rendered separately with material (wood, leather, chrome) and lighting detail. The approach mirrors our land-based interior projects — see Furniture & Interior Render.
Why does technical accuracy matter?
In shipyard and engineering presentations, the model must match the reference drawing exactly in dimension, proportion and hull line. We work from naval architecture plans, CAD data or photos; the process shares the same technical rigor as our Industrial Modeling service.
Defense and military marine vessels
Military marine vessels and defense projects are evaluated separately within an approved scope — see Defense Industry Solutions.
