3D rendering is the process of turning a three-dimensional scene into a two-dimensional, photorealistic image through light, material and camera calculations. In short: the model’s “taken photograph” is produced by rendering.

How does rendering work?

A render engine calculates, with the laws of physics, how light in a scene hits surfaces, reflects and reaches our eye. This physically based (PBR) approach makes the result indistinguishable from a real photo.

The three factors that define a render

Light

Correct light convinces a scene. Sun, sky and artificial light are built with real physics.

Material

Metal, glass, wood and leather become realistic with reflection and roughness values.

Optimization

Balancing quality and time is an art — we cover it in render light & material optimization.

Which outputs are possible?

Exterior architectural render, furniture & interior render, product render and VR/AR outputs. You’ll find them all on our Rendering Services page. Production is in Blender with physically based render engines.

Frequently asked questions

What’s the difference between a render and a photo? A render can show even unmanufactured or physically un-shootable scenes photorealistically.

What resolution? For print and presentation we can go up to 4K/8K.

What render resolution should be used? 2K is usually enough for web; 4K–8K is preferred for print, trade-show panels or large screens. Resolution directly affects render time.

Why choose rendering over photography? Visuals can be produced before the product exists, angle and lighting can be changed without limit, and endless variations come from one scene.
